Dear Resident,
Thank you for being a member of Herts Connected.
Officers have been busy across #Hertsmere recently. Here is a snapshot of what they’ve been up to…
✅ A warrant was conducted at an address in Coleridge Way, #Borehamwood this week. A stolen bike was recovered and cash and phones were seized. Whilst there, we also seized a vehicle for failing to stop.
✅ A Nissan Juke (pictured) was stopped and a search conducted. A small wrap of class A drugs was found and the driver, a female, was issued with a community resolution.
✅ We took part in an operation with Trading Standards to tackle the sale of illegal vapes, cigarettes and tobacco. Over 6,000 cigarettes and nearly 3 kg of tobacco was seized from a shop in #Borehamwood.
✅ PCSO Karen Gregson attended a meeting with the Chairman of the Barham Avenue street association (#Borehamwood). They were joined by one of the constabulary’s crime prevention officers following burglaries in the area. They discussed measures such as CCTV and defensive plants. You can see our full burglary prevention advice at herts.police.uk/crimeprevention
✅ A man was arrested in #Borehamwood for failing to comply with a court order from March 2026.
✅ We attended Donaldson Lodge in #PottersBar following reports of a flat being set on fire. Enquiries were conducted promptly at the scene, speaking with residents and key witnesses. The fire was successfully extinguished by the fire brigade and CCTV and evidence were obtained. A suspect was identified, located, and arrested on suspicion of arson endangering life.
